At PRUDENT COMPUTER EDUCATION, An ISO 9001:2015 Certified & Registered Under MCA, The Government of India, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of transparency, fairness and student satisfaction. This Refund & Return Policy has been established to ensure equitable treatment of all learners while preserving the academic integrity, operational commitments and quality of our educational services.

This policy applies to course registrations, admissions, online programs, offline training programs, certificate courses, diploma courses, skill-based courses, examination-related services and other educational services offered by PRUDENT COMPUTER EDUCATION, unless specifically stated otherwise.

Important: Refund eligibility depends on admission confirmation status, course commencement date, access to digital learning materials, course transfer status, certificate processing, payment gateway rules and final approval by the management.

1. Cancellation Before Admission Confirmation

If a student cancels their registration before the admission is formally confirmed by PRUDENT COMPUTER EDUCATION, the student shall be eligible for a 100% refund of the fees paid.

  • The refund request must be submitted before admission confirmation.
  • The student must provide valid payment proof, registration details and contact information.
  • Any bank charges, payment gateway fees, UPI charges, card charges, transaction costs or applicable service charges may be deducted from the refundable amount.
  • Refund shall be processed only after verification of payment and registration records.

2. Cancellation After Admission Confirmation

Once admission is confirmed, refund requests will be considered only within 15 days from the official commencement date of the course.

  • No refund shall be granted after 15 days of course commencement, under any circumstances.
  • The course commencement date shall be determined by the official batch/course schedule maintained by the institution or authorized centre.
  • Administrative charges, processing charges, study material charges, portal activation charges or any other applicable deductions may be applied.
  • Refund approval shall be subject to verification and final decision of the management.

3. Online / Digital Learning Programs

For online courses, digital learning programs, portal-based courses or e-learning resources, refund eligibility will depend on whether the student has accessed or used the digital materials.

  • If a student has accessed or utilized online course materials, learning platforms, digital resources, recorded classes, downloadable files or online portal content, no refund shall be applicable.
  • If course materials have not been accessed, a partial refund may be considered within the 15-day eligibility period.
  • Any partial refund may be processed after deduction of applicable administrative charges, payment gateway charges or service charges.
  • Portal logs, access records, login records or system usage records may be used to verify whether digital content was accessed.

4. Course Transfer / Batch Rescheduling

Students may request transfer to another batch or course, subject to availability, eligibility and academic feasibility.

  • Batch transfer or course transfer is not guaranteed and shall depend on seat availability and course structure.
  • Such requests may attract administrative, processing or course-difference fees as determined by the management.
  • If a student chooses course transfer or batch rescheduling as an alternative to refund, separate refund claim may not be applicable unless approved by the management.
  • Transferred course or batch shall be governed by the rules applicable to the new course or batch.

5. Force Majeure / Unforeseen Circumstances

In the event of natural disasters, pandemics, government directives, law-and-order situations, technical disruptions, institutional emergencies or any other uncontrollable circumstances, PRUDENT COMPUTER EDUCATION reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, modify or cancel courses.

  • Under such conditions, the management may offer course transfer options, batch rescheduling or full/partial refund as deemed appropriate.
  • Refund or adjustment in such cases shall depend on the nature of the situation, services already delivered and management decision.
  • The institution shall not be liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

6. Refund Application Procedure

All refund requests must be submitted in writing, either via email or in person at the PRUDENT COMPUTER EDUCATION centre/office or authorized support channel.

  • The refund request must clearly mention student name, admission/registration number, course name, batch details, payment amount, payment date and transaction/receipt details.
  • The student must attach valid payment proof and any required supporting documents.
  • Refund requests submitted verbally, through unofficial channels or without proper documents may not be processed.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 15 working days and credited to the original mode of payment, wherever possible.
  • In case original mode refund is not technically possible, the institution may request alternate bank/payment details after verification.

7. General Terms & Conditions

All refunds are subject to verification, documentation, eligibility and final approval by the management of PRUDENT COMPUTER EDUCATION.

  • This policy applies uniformly to online, offline, certificate, diploma and skill-based courses unless a separate written policy is provided.
  • Refund is not automatic and must be requested through official process.
  • Refund may be denied in cases of false information, fake documents, misuse of services, violation of course rules or disciplinary issues.
  • No refund shall be applicable after certificate issue, marksheet processing, final examination completion or full course completion, unless specifically approved by the management.
  • PRUDENT COMPUTER EDUCATION reserves the right to amend, modify or update this policy at any time, with prior notice to students wherever applicable.

8. Non-Refundable Situations

Refund shall generally not be applicable in the following situations:

  • After 15 days from official course commencement date
  • After accessing online course materials, digital resources or learning portal content
  • After certificate, marksheet or final document processing has started
  • After completion of course, examination or training services
  • For administrative charges, payment gateway charges, bank charges or transaction costs
  • For students removed due to misconduct, false information, violation of rules or misuse of institutional services
  • For requests submitted without proper written application or valid payment proof

9. Payment Gateway and Bank Charges

Payments made through online payment gateway, UPI, card, wallet, net banking or other digital payment modes may involve charges levied by banks, payment gateway companies or service providers.

  • Such charges may be deducted from the refundable amount wherever applicable.
  • PRUDENT COMPUTER EDUCATION shall not be responsible for delays caused by bank or payment gateway processing.
  • Refund tracking may depend on the payment gateway, bank or original payment mode used by the student.

10. Centre / Franchise Related Payments

If any payment is made towards institute registration, centre registration, franchise approval, portal activation, software activation, branding, authorization or similar services, refund eligibility shall depend on the specific approval status, activation status, service delivery stage and written agreement/communication.

  • Once centre/institute approval, portal activation, authorization or service setup is completed, refund may not be applicable.
  • Any centre/franchise refund request must be submitted in writing with payment proof and registration details.
  • Management decision shall be final in centre/franchise-related refund matters, subject to applicable law.

PRUDENT COMPUTER EDUCATION reserves the right to update, modify or revise this Refund & Return Policy from time to time. Updated policies shall be effective upon publication on the official website, portal or through official notice.
